Summary
This article describes the steps to be followed when the customer requests that his items be delivered the same day, we will have to check if we can cater to his request.
Solution
If the customer has already ordered the product before requesting for same day delivery.
- Check with the customer by what time he needs the product to be delivered ( Explain to the customer that we will try to get the product for the customer and also explain the process of picking the products for same day delivery. Inform customer that we will send out an SMS to confirm the request)
- Check with the SC team if we can accommodate the customer's request.
- If we are delivering the order ->Inform the time of delivery to the customer.
- If we cannot deliver ->Inform the same to the customer. Explain to them the reason why we are not able to deliver.
If he has still not placed the order for the items required.
- Ask the customer the below:
- What product does the customer require ?
- The quantity of the product.
- Time of delivery.
- Check with the SC team if we can accommodate the customer's request.
- If we are delivering the order -> Asked the seller to place an order for the required items on the App. Inform the delivery charges to be paid and the time of delivery.
- If we cannot deliver -> Inform the same to the customer. Explain to them the reason why we are not able to deliver.
